As the title may suggest, our lovely tech committee has been up to many good things. I’ll keep it brief:
- We’ve put the finishing touches on the new election software in Moodle and will be using Moodle for all Student Senate elections going forward. AND, we’ve got the class representative voting set up to be by actual class year instead of years in residence! This change will minimize class year voting tomfoolery for many international students, students with 3-year plans, and other cases.
- We’ve rolled out Canva Pro to all students at no additional cost! Visit canva.gustavus.edu if you haven’t set it up and want it! We’ll also be putting up some posters on campus for more information
- We’re working on advertising for the newly established technology recycling program – we’ve had several staff and student already drop off some unique things!
- I’ve updated the Student Senate community comment suggestion form, which can be accessed here if you’d like to leave us some thoughts
We’ve got more small things done, but them’s the broad strokes. I’m very proud with all that our committee’s accomplished this year!
