Your Gustavus Student Senate is seeking applications for Student Senators! Elected representatives serve as full voting members of the Student Senate, where they discuss important issues facing the student body and decide how to use an annual budget of over $300,000 for student organizations and projects, while improving their leadership and career competencies! Please note that the deadline to apply is 3:00pm on Monday, September 18th and elections will be on Thursday the 21st. Campaign guidelines have been established in the Senate bylaws. Regular meetings take place every Monday from 7-9 pm beginning 9/25. Note: in addition to Monday evenings, newly elected Senators must be available on Sunday, September 24 for training and orientation.
