Resolution passed by Student Senate regarding the Dive Renovation Project

To: The Gustavus Adolphus Board of Trustees and the Office of the President

Topic: Dive Renovation

Gustavus Student Senate,

WHEREAS the student body has made clear the desire for improved student space;

COGNIZANT of the underutilized potential of the Dive;

URGES the college to renovate the Dive to fulfill its potential as a premier student space on campus;

ANNOUNCES its intent to select and hire an architectural design firm to propose design options for a renovation of the Dive;

FURTHER charges the Dive Project Committee to ensure the design options reflect the needs and desires of the student body in accord with the survey data.
